Aneet S. Toor, M.D.
Meet Dr. Toor. Growing up in a tight-knit family, he strove to find his own niche that would allow him to bridge his passion for medicine with his desire to integrate a technical aspect to his career. Orthopaedics proved the perfect fit.
“Orthopaedics allows me the opportunity to restore our patients' happiness by improving their quality of life through each interaction,” he says.
Dr. Toor specializes in:
- Sports Medicine
- Arthroscopic Surgery
- Reconstructive Surgery, including the shoulder
- General Orthopaedics/Fractures
Dr. Toor was attracted to the Center for Orthopaedic Specialists (COS) because the practice shared many of his same professional values, including integrity, strong work ethic and patient-focused care.
Prior to joining the team at COS, Dr. Toor earned a Doctorate in Medicine from The Ohio State University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA. After completing orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
While at Kerlan Jobe, Dr. Toor served as an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks.
As a native of the San Fernando Valley, Dr. Toor is happy to be back and serve his hometown. Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid moviegoer and regularly plays tennis and beach volleyball.
