Frank A. Russo, M.D.
Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery
Born and raised in San Diego,Dr. Russo is a native to Southern California. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physiology at UCLA, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a graduating senior. He attended Medical School at UC San Diego, where he was awarded The Samuel B. Hamburger Memorial Thesis Award for excellence in research for his graduating class. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Southern California. Following residency, he moved to New York City to pursue his
fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the
renowned NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. His subspecialty training has expanded his skill set in the care
of complex hand and upper extremity reconstruction
and the treatment of peripheral nerve injuries.
